Fotbal

„Fotbal“ is the term used in several languages, including Romanian and Czech, to refer to the sport of soccer, known as football in most countries outside North America. Soccer is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each, with the objective of scoring goals by getting a spherical ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular field, known as a pitch, and is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game. The term encompasses not only the sport itself but also its cultural significance, including community involvement, competitions, and international events like the FIFA World Cup. In a broader sense, „fotbal“ can symbolize teamwork, strategy, and physical fitness within the context of athletics.
